Overview
Diploma and foundation programmes provide practical and academic pathways for students who are preparing for undergraduate study or seeking career-focused qualifications. These programmes help students strengthen subject knowledge, improve study skills, and meet entry requirements for degree-level education in Malaysia. Higher education at Certificate and Diploma levels are for students from the age of 17 with SPM (which is equivalent to GCSE 'O' level).
Pathway Options
- Foundation programmes: Designed for students who want a direct route into a bachelor's degree. These one-year programmes usually focus on academic preparation, English development, and subject-specific foundations.
- Diploma programmes: Suitable for students who prefer a more practical and career-oriented route. Diploma graduates may enter the workforce or progress into related degree programmes, often with credit transfer options.
- English and academic support: Students from non-English speaking backgrounds may combine their pathway studies with English preparation to build confidence in academic reading, writing, speaking, and presentation.
