1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using southbridgealliance.com (the "Site") or engaging Southbridge Alliance ("Southbridge", "we", "us") for education consultancy services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
2. Who We Are
Southbridge Alliance is an education consultancy headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, helping students from Mainland China and Southeast Asia access study opportunities in Malaysia. We are an independent advisory service — we are not a university, a government visa authority, or a branch of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS).
3. Our Services
We provide study-abroad counseling, visa and migration guidance, test-preparation coordination, university application support, and scholarship guidance. Bookings made through the Site (e.g. "Book a Consultation") reserve time with an advisor and do not themselves constitute enrollment in any course, university, or visa outcome.
4. No Guarantee of Admission or Visa Approval
University admissions, scholarship awards, and Student Pass / visa approvals are decided solely by the relevant university, scholarship body, or Malaysian government authority (including EMGS and the Immigration Department of Malaysia). While we help you prepare the strongest possible application, Southbridge cannot and does not guarantee admission, scholarship, or visa approval.
5. Your Responsibilities
When using the Site or our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information in any form you submit
- Use the Site only for lawful purposes
- Not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or documents to us or to any institution we refer you to
6. Fees
Initial consultations booked through the Site are free of charge. Any paid services are quoted and agreed separately in writing before work begins; this Site does not itself process payments.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, and the Southbridge Alliance (南桥联盟) name and branding — is owned by or licensed to Southbridge and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
8. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party sites (e.g. partner universities, EMGS). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Southbridge shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or our services, including losses relating to delayed, rejected, or unsuccessful applications, admissions, or visa outcomes that are outside our control.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
