12-Month Paid Hospitality Internships with 4 and 5-star Hotels in Malaysia (Open for both foreign and local students)

The ESIP program provides hospitality students with the opportunity to complete a 12-month paid international internship in Malaysia after finishing their hospitality diploma or training program overseas. Students begin with a short academic orientation and professional preparation program, ensuring they are fully prepared for international hospitality workplace expectations.

ESIP Program Highlights

  • 12-Month International Internship: Gain hands-on experience in luxury hotels and hospitality establishments in Malaysia.
  • Internship Allowance: Up to USD 500 per month, depending on hotel scheduling and department placement.
  • Pre-Internship Training & Orientation: Approximately two weeks at BM Academy, focusing on hospitality communication, guest service, workplace professionalism, and international hospitality standards.
  • Meals During Internship: 2–3 duty meals per day provided by hotel partners.
  • Supervision & Student Support: Each student receives guidance from both a hotel supervisor and a BMA coordinator.
  • International Hospitality Experience: Exposure to Front Office, Food & Beverage, Kitchen Operations, Guest Services, and Housekeeping.

Two Internship Streams

Stream 1: Certificate in Hotel Management

  • Focus: Hotel operations and guest service
  • Placements: Luxury hotels, international hotel chains, city business hotels, resorts
  • Departments: Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Food & Beverage Service

Stream 2: Certificate in Food & Beverage Services

  • Focus: Restaurant operations and hospitality service excellence
  • Placements: Hotel restaurants, premium dining outlets, hospitality venues
  • Skills: Food & beverage service, guest engagement, restaurant operations, hospitality service standards
